.me.so domains for all Somali ICT students

As a part of Somalia ISOC’s  campaign to improve and develop the Somali ICT sector we are pleased to announce that ICT students in any Somali University can now apply for a free name.me.so domain (where name is student’s name). Digital presence for all Somali tertiary students has arrived! For more information please contact mahad@isoc.so – It is our primary strategic goal to ensure all Somali ICT students initially and by end of 2017 all Somali tertiary students to have their domains for showcasing their educational achievements, CVs when seeking employments and their general information. This is phase II of a project initiated by the former Minister of Telecommunication when all Somali tertiary institutions were given free name.edu.so domain (where name is the university’s name) and access to Google Apps to enable them issue email accts to all staff and students based on their .edu.so domain. For any university that needs help in the phase I project, please contact admin@somtech.edu.so
